I have a 2014 taco double cab with 6 ft bed. I have oem factory rack. Canoe is 17 ft aluminum Grumman, weight 85lbs. I do not have a cap and do not want one. I was thinking of adding yakima system to oem and putting in yakima bed rack. Need trailer hitch for atvs. I searched past discussions but this canoe is big and aluminum (meaning I probably going to scratch my truck). Yakima stuff seems a little $ but you usually get what you pay for. Also considered the old pressure homemade wood rack. This is my backwoods fishing boat so the roads are usually fun and nasty. Thanks
