    On the shifter panel, there's a little square clip looking thing.. I've read that it's some kind of safety of the shifter stick ever got stuck? I think you stick your key in it.... Anyway what is called?

    Remove the little square piece of plastic and you will see a little button. Pressing the button allows you shift out of Park if your brake light switch fails. I've had to use it on my daughter's 03 Camry. I believe that it called the shift lock over-ride (corrected).
