    It has a couple bumps and bruises, but it is structurally sound runs great. I guess I can't complain to much.

    I went ahead and bought it today. Couldn't get him to come down lower than $3000. I did notice that the belt for the ac isn't even present. not sure. he said he didn't know it was missing, but then again his son drove it more than he did in the last few years. the cattle guard is rusting to hell so that is the first to go. might sand it down and repaint it and put it back on without the lights... I got a lot of work ahead of me. we'll see what happens. it made the ~48 mile drive home no problem and handles well. has plenty of power. i think the CEL is just a dirty MAF since he uses one of those air filters you can reuse.

    my main concern is getting the transmission checked out by my mechanic and getting a new windshield and weather stripping to go above it. it looks like right above the windshield is a lot of rust so I'm not sure how to clean that up.
