I really like my new truck but noticed some models have 265/65/17 tires (which I prefer) and some like mine have 265/70/60 tires.

What I am trying to do now is find a wheel with the same offset (+30mm) that will receive a 265/65/17 tire. Having little or no luck since almost all custom wheels come with zero offset or in most cases negative offset.

Any advice? The new Tacomas that have the 265/65/17 rims look great but Toyota wants $300 a piece for them. Whew, that is $1200 before buying tires. Ugh.

The sport models come stock with 17" rims and the off road models come with 16".

Might try the for sale forum, a lot of members like upgrade there new rims and tires.
