Ya man my truck was just around the corner at our campsite. Cool truck, that area is one of my favorite spots for camping. Nobody is there near the tiny lakes and ponds.

    Hey Guys,

I live near San Francisco and wanted to make my way up to Brookings to look around and get a feel for the town as I would like to bring my boat up and fish out of that port next year.

Was wondering if there was any good remote / primitive camping east of Brookings in the Rogue River - Siskiyou National Forest. Preferably something on or near a small lake or stream in an area that is shooting friendly.

    Thanks

Nope, nothing to see here and the fishing is horrible. Your best bet is to stay in California. :D

Yeah Bear Creek Road is pretty good or just in the Illinois valley on the river is nice. Although with the current fire season I wouldn't get near the area. It's too dry and just shooting alone with light a fire. Smoke is really thick too and visibility is very poor not to mention the tax on your lungs.

Anybody on here live in the TriCities area? It'd be nice to know there is someone close i can get advice on mods and maintenance from.

Took this yesterday, having my lunch break down by Bateman Island on the Columbia River. Lots or stuff I want to do with this truck once I get all maintenance done.

If you get something I'd be interested in taking your stock antenna off your hands. Or I'd trade you for my stock antenna I cut down to 13" if you're interested. It gets pretty decent reception, I just want to go back to full length.

My stock antenna came off. I think it died in the carwash. It is long gone. I mostly listen to SAT radio, so not a big loss.

I'm probably the closest active member. There is a dude in Yakima, one in Hermiston, and a dude in Walla Walla that are TW members too, but I haven't met any of them in person.
