    Hey guys!

New member to the site and very excited to join the group. Being reading and looking at all the modifications yall made and decided to start working on my truck (pics soon to come)...

    What i plan to buy:
I want to get the new TRD Pro wheels. I think they look pretty nice and want to get it with a nice set of tires.
The specs of the rims are: 16 in x 7.5 in x 10mm offset
The tires I'm thinking of getting: 285/75R16

Now, would it be a good combination of rims and tires??
would I need additional items like a backspacing for the rims?

I noticed most people go for the 16inx8in size rims with 285/75R16 tire size so I don't know if the rims I would like to get would be a good fit.

I have a '04 xtra-cab tacoma V6 which I just bought the Toytec ultimate lift kit. I plan to put a 2" lift on the truck. Hopefully I'll get to work on it this weekend.

All info and suggestions about this topic will be much appreciated.

    Thanks guys!

    Fucking look it up
You can't clear 285's without chopping alot of your fender well out even with a 3 inch lift if your stock you might as well take all the plastic out of your fenders and cut your fenders 2.5 inches all the way around to be able to fit them and you still might rub

    Get some 255/85R16s!

I have the FJ Trail Teams and they are almost the same specs (15mm offset being the only difference). No rubbing.

I've got the same wheels in bronze. BFG KO2 265x75x16 tires with an 1 1/5" lift. No rubbing whatsoever. The tires are really heavy. You can feel the extra weight at all times.

Where did you get those rims at Macota415? I have been looking for a set like that forever. I don't want to go over 16". All I have been able to find is 17" TRD rims

I just bought 16x8 Method Double standards with 4.5" back spacing no offset. Will they fit on my truck with my lift consisting of Bilstein adjustable 5100's with 3" Eibach springs and Camburg UCA's also 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers? I was just going to run 265/75/16 BFG KO2's
