I asked that too! Wanted to buy wheelers leaf springs. She said it voids warranty LOL. Freakin bozos. I've been out of warranty for so long. Do they not understand what a recall is?

 

I would bring the actual recall letter and show them so they can read it. I hate Servco and their warranty people.

I can tell you wheeling 80's in Moab we rarely and I mean rarely needed to drop it into 4 wheel drive. The most we usually did was hit the center diff lock. I've never wheeled a Tacoma though.

So Radman from Toyota mapunapuna called me and gave me a sigh of relief. He left a message telling me that the cracked leafspring will be replaced with A new OEM leaf pack. It WILL also be covered under warranty once a solution/new parts come to fulfill the recall.

I mentioned the lady I spoke with in the office and he told me not to worry about her. I said great! Only thing is that they're booked a month so won't be able to go in till sept 5.

If you are serious about picking up a GoPro, I've got a Hero 3+ Silver edition I plan on throwing on Craigslist soon. I bought it thinking it would be cool to wear while I run and gun. Apparently the only person that wanted to see videos of me was me.....

Got maybe two hours of runtime, no damage, 32 gib card and GoPro head strap. Still got everything that came with it except the box. Paid just under $400 for everything, looking to get $275 TW discount included.
