It sounds like your dealer handled the situation appropriately. Important: I know there is a difference between lube techs & master techs. I know some super great skilled master techs. People make mistakes. Being a service manager with access to a shop and tools myself, I decided to do my own maintenance/repairs.

IMO totally unacceptable response by your service manager. He should at least given you an " I'll look into it " or maybe informed you that particular service is not covered. Personally I would not let that service manager have anything to do with my Tacoma.
