I just noticed the inner part of my front tires are wearing faster. I've got about 50K on this BFG All-Terrains. I called a shop and they quoted my $79 for a standard alignment, but gave me the standard disclosure that "they need to shake down the suspension to make sure its not anything else, ie tie rods, etc."

As always, I like to check in with my friendly forums to be a bit more educated before I take her in.

    Here's the facts...

I've been terrible at rotating my tires. I'm probably at least 10K overdue. I'm just glad I noticed the wear before it was really bad.

I've been towing a popup for the past 3 summer season. Its a 3K lbs trailer and I use a weight distribution hitch.

She doesn't pull to either side and both front tires has the same inner wear.

I'm wondering if this is at all an alignment issue, or if it's just the result of driving habits (towing, etc) and not being on top of rotating my tires. I'm definitely rotating them today, but I'm wondering if I should bother taking her in.

    Feedbacks appreciated as always.

I'm also getting tire wear / feathering of the tread blocks in the inboard edges of my front tires - worse on the right side, but present on both sides. Ball joints have no play, LCA bolts tight, UCA & LCA bushings good, tie rods and ends are tight, and truck drives fine. I will free up my cam bolts and take it in for an alignment before I put new tires on for the winter.
