If you're going to spend that much on a TV you should give it the ride it deserves in a DCLB.

I like tight spaces, my last car before owning a truck was a Honda CRX.

Where did you buy your tail gate pad? Any specific brand? Can you post a pic?

Yep. I'll be getting a 4x4 when I buy a truck. My Sentra has been places where a few 2 wheel drive Tacomas and Rangers couldn't make it. Front Wheel open diff has its place

Sorry just saw this. I bought the Yakima offering because I had a pretty good coupon code for it from Backcountry.com at the time, paid right around $70. Mine has held up well and takes ~5 minutes to put on or remove. I think they are all pretty much the same, I'd buy based off of whichever looks coolest to you or whichever you can get the best price on. I have fit four bikes on mine at a time, but think I could squeeze in a 5th if the need ever arose.

*Edit to add-- I know Yakima has an awesome lifetime warranty as well and I've had good luck with other products from them. I'm sure the other companies making these tailgate pads probably have warranties too, but I'm not familiar with them.

What does the "5" in SR5 indicate?

    It's gotta mean:

Actually, I think historically it indicated a 5-speed transmission. Now it's just turned into a trim level

Question I asked myself a couple of months ago. Except I do a little wheeling and camping down old logging roads etc.

I ended up with a 2015 DCLB SR5 4x4 couldn't be happier. I can take mine and my buddies bikes up the trail heads and shuttle if needed down some back country logging roads, take it camping with the wife and friends, shuttle around town, etc.

Went with the DCLB SR5 4x4 because:

    1. Wanted the 4 doors, coming from a 4 door hatchback (mazdaspeed3) didn't want to lose the functionality of being able to carry friends and family with ease.

    2. Needed to get an auto because my wide needed a vehicle she could drive, In Canada don't know about the states but you can only get the DCLB with an auto. If you want a DCSB you have to go manual.

    3. Wanted 4x4 so I could go camping and take it wheeling on the weekends.

    4. Didn't need any of the extras that came with the TRD sport.

Now that I have the truck I couldn't be happier with my choice. Was a bit disappointed because I wanted the DCSB liked the proportions of it a bit more and with the shorter wheelbase.... but find myself using the whole bed with gear when I go biking and camping.
