Only Mod is the box liner on the rockers and up the doors all other work has just been repairs, looking forward to future build.
I have seen questions a few times on here to Canadians from Americans wondering if they have ever driven a Zamboni and as one person who has I figured I should let everyone know that its about as fun as nascar you just drive in circles. that being said it was 4 wheel drive and I did pull my car out of a snow drift with it once.

first 100 times its pure magic seeing the fresh ice and then being the first to put the skates too it (we always did it after close) after that you start to like it less and less cause its public so people stand on the ice and stomp it till it breaks through (outdoor rink) not true Canadian usually Immagrants.

I've drove one for training way back when I worked for a city rink. Never cut the ice with it though. I'm a referee hockey so I talk with the guys all the time and get pissed when they fuck up by putting too much water down.

I find figure skaters are the biggest risk to the ice. Toe pick holes everywhere that don't always fill.

yeah they can be a pain but we have had 4foot holes from stomping. they all you can do is make pails of slush and pack it with you bare hands and a puck then cut and lay down water till its fixed.

Makes sense. As a ref I've had to fill more than a few holes. One time a bad zamboni driver even had the blade set to low and was taking chunks out at every turn :(

Wasn't my home rink and I didn't watch him do it. The worst part is he just watched from the stands while myself, the players, and the other refs fixed his mistakes.
