What did you pay for your 2015 extended warranty?

Okay guys, I am looking to purchase a 2015 DCSB 4x4 offroad package.

Just want to inquire on what you guys paid for such warranty and what time frame it covers.

I dont want to hear the: "save your money, the truck doesnt need it"

I already read thru some of the threads that discuss this. Keeping in mind the threads are a few years old, the latest being 2013, I would like to check with you guys and see if the numbers discussed in the threads still are the same, now in 2015.

I would have to go home to verify but I believe I got mine for $1600-1700 I want to say 1700, 7yr and I think bumped it to 125k

 

On my Sport $1500 7 year 100,000

 

My dealer "offered" me an 8 year warranty for $1600.

 

Though you don't want to hear it I'm on my 5th Tacoma since 1995 and never have used the warranty.

 

Three Tacomas...never would have used one savings? $3000 They are not warranties. to be sure they are Extended Service Contracts....VERY different than a warranty,

 

We purchased a Toyota Extended warranty for our 2015 TRD OffRoad Tacoma in April for $1850. 8 years, 125,000 mile coverage.

Huh, what you mean they are extended service contracts?

 

I didn't take it but a couple months ago when I purchased my new truck the 7yr/100k bumper to bumper warranty was offered to me at $2100.

I was offered 7/100K for $1505 but that was coupled with extending the service (Toyota care 2/25K) to 3/35K for an additional $390, so $1895 total. I ended up declining with the thought of shopping later for the EW. I'm not using Toyota care because of the peace of mind of servicing the vehicle myself.

I did consider this offer though, I believe it's at 30K where the truck needs more than a 5k service and the cost of that 30K service is $300. I just couldn't justify the total cost at the time. I've read on TW that 7/100K EW's can be found in the 1K range.

I am pretty sure this thread is about TFS extended warranty coverage. Not Extended Service. And you are correct. Two different types of coverage.

Do you have the number to call to cancel this? I need to cancel the one on my 2013 Tacoma.

Toyota certified used 2013 with 34k at time of purchase. Paid $1100 for Toyota platinum 0$ deductible 7year 100k factory extended warranty.

 

$750 for 7 years or 75,000 miles - I work for a BMW dealer that also owns a Toyota dealer and 12 other manufacturer dealers in the area.
