I was wanting to go to theSportsmans meet but Jes with NM offroad needs help with the Toys 4 Tots. I'll be there for Sunday though.
Maybe someone can help me figure out what lift I have on the taco.

Here's what's underthe truck. It's also on a pro comp wheel package which the cheap chrome is coming off but I will fix that. Tires are 285 70 R17

    Thoughts on what lift?

Here's a close up of my failing chrome. Under the ultra thin chrome coating is a nice gloss black. Any ideas for removing the chrome while keeping the gloss black paint under? I prefer black to chrome by far. Some day I will upgrade to steel.

looks like standard TRD components, and a 2" leveling kit up front.

not sure if it would be possible to keep the black undercoat, i would just sand blast that chrome off and plastiderp the wheels black, if its already flaking off if you do anything else you will always have those lips where the chrome meets the black, plus your truck is new isnt it? id see if the dealer can order you a new set of wheels or replace the damaged ones

As soon as I can adjust my schedule I'd really like to get out and meet up with you guys. I'm going to have a new icon kit to try out. Not in for tomorrow, but soon! Post some pics please. It's been a long time since I've been out there!
