    Thanks Frank Im digging it you build off the mind nothing to show what needs to be done. Forgot to put a few drain holes in the main plate. Still have to wire it up and figure out how to wire the In cab switch

    You add 9.3% to your miles on your trip meter. Zero it out when you fill the tank.
    So it's miles traveled + 9.3% ÷ # of gallons it took to fill it.
    But 9.3% doesn't sound right, did you compare stock size to the 315's?
    Mine difference is 14.6%

    I used the tire size calculator here on TW, it said the revolution difference was -8.5% which that's where I was getting that number from and was basing it off of my 265s

    Go by what Mike said which is the increase in tire size and don't worry about your revolutions because with a bigger tire, although you are getting less revolutions than the smaller size. Your distance traveled is much higher. I broke the math down a while back on TW Live

    This is how it works

    Let's say I am running 265/75/16 and a I move up to 285/75/16

    That there is a 7.5% increase because

    285-265=20 and 20/265=0.075=7.5%

    Now all you need to do is add 7.5% to your ODO each time. So if your ODO is at 250 when you fill up.

    250*0.075= 18.75 250+18.75= 268.75 Actual Distance Traveled

    It is a 9.3% increase, depending on if that was his stock tire size

    But I don't think stock was 265/75/16 probably more like 265/65 or 70. My stock size was 265/65/17

    Ya my stock size when I got my truck was 245/75r16s and when i jumped up to the 265s my speedo was dead on from my previous 3 mph slower

    Tires look good Chris!
    If you guys are using an Ultra Gauge (or scan gauge) you can calibrate it to your tires and it will always be exact. With my 35x12.50x17's my calibration factor is 1.135 Theres a few steps involved to set it up, just let me know and I can send them over if anyone needs it.
