Just drove home my very first Brand NEW 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport / Double cab 4x4.
Did not think I would ever! do it. Hate payments.
But in reality, the wife said this is an early retirement gift/truck. WOW! I know!
The last Toyota truck I owned was a 1986 with the 4 banger. And it was an outstanding truck.
I literally had to drive to the junk yard, (frame almost ready to rust through) But, the engine and tranny still great. 324,000 miles.
I hope this truck is just as tough. Very excited!

I hope your new Tacoma will last just as long as the one from the 80s, if not longer.

You know, I can't recall speaking to anyone. Not even guys older than me, Yea I know. thats old. That have said that Tacoma's were not a very reliable truck.
Hell I come from a family that if you bought any thing other than Ford,Chevy, or Dodge, you were a traitor. But even my 70 - 80 year old uncles can't say Tacoma's are not a reliable truck. And tough. I also own a 2004 F-250 4x4, its been a great truck. I just don't need that large of a truck anymore, and if i do well its sitting there. And wow! what a difference in fuel consumption.
