I'm sure this question has been asked before and there are many opinions on it but, should I keep or sell my stock steelies? I'm doing some cleaning and it would be nice to free up some space in my shed. The tires on them are no good, and I would (probably) never use them as a winter set. Only uses I could see would be emergency or to sell my aftermarket wheels separate when I sell the truck. Anyone have a reason for me to keep them?

I kept mine and am using them for dedicated studded snow tires. From what I've read on the 255/85-16s thread, on steelies they will fit without rubbing - in case you wanted a taller tire. If niether of those are in your future, then try to sell them. Not sure what you'd get for them.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
If they're the base stock wheels, you could get about $100 for them.

I'd keep about 3, in case you ever decide to build a trailer.

I thought I'd need to keep mine, but after moving them for the fourth time or so they went on craigslist. IIRC I got $200 with working TPMS included.

I'm keeping mine for when I sell my rig. I can just swap my after markets with the old stockers when I decide to sell. If you plan on keeping your truck for more than 10+ years I would say go ahead and sell em.

I'm a pack rat. If you have the room, keep them.

With the amount of room they take up, and the minimal amount of money to get out of them, I find it worth it to just keep them as spares. Never know what may happen.
