The stock 17" wheels on my '07 Sport have gone to sh*t. I'd love to hear suggestions on replacements.

The truck is pretty much stock and not lifted. I'm running BF AT KOs, which I love. The only off-roading I do is the occasional beach haul or short fireroad drive. My budget is $600. It's not a lot but times are tough.

What do you suggest my best options are? Thanks.

You can check discount tires wheels and see what they have, some more budget oriented stuff is 100 to 110 a wheel.

The wheels are also available in gunmetal for about the same price, just search for the corresponding part number. There are also knock offs from ebay (likely made in China) for roughly $75 less. There was a post about it a while ago in the wheel/tire forum. Though personally I'd stick with OEM. Careful when ordering off ebay, many of them show grey but list color as black:

You must really like those TRDs. I don't but thank you for the links. I'm looking for a different style wheel, like these...

How exactly did they "go to $hit" ????

OEM take-offs are everywhere on craigslist, 16's, 17's, FJ wheels, 4runner wheels....

Oem wheels are likely better than anything else you'll find in you're budget.

I need to replace my tires soon and want to change the wheels to give the truck a fresh look. If I were going off-roading I'd drop more money on a great set-but then I'd do my suspension first. I simply want to put on a good looking set of wheels to compliment the tires. With that said, I need to keep the cost below $600. That's my budget and I have to stick to it.

So, again, does anyone have (non OEM) recommendations for 17" rims that cost less than $150. Thanks

It is so sad that the Sport wheels do that eventually. I don't know if I've seen one on an older truck or 4runner that hasn't peeled.
