Hey guys, I got an 09 DC, put a 3 inch OME lift in, TC UCA, AAL and OME rear shocks in. Drove around a little bit before my alignment and had NO issues with anything. After my alignment everything appears normal untill you drive a little ways and the traction control turns OFF on its own. Once it turns off its frozen, you can not turn it back on or engage the auto lsd. Turn the truck off and restart it the traction control is on again untill i drive a little ways???

The truck drives fine and nothing seems out of place just the traction control turns itself off???

Anbody had issues like this before??

The truck rides fine with no shaking or wierd vibrations but could a tire out of balance do this? I think that if a tire was out of balance that much I would notice it for sure though?

I'd check the abs system including all the connectors at the sensors. Traction control and electronic lsd's work by engaging the brakes and reducing engine power, with input from the abs sensors to figure which wheel to brake and which wheel to not brake.

I checked then connections and plugs right away and nothing seemed out of place. However, after reading my manual, it cleary states the modifying your suspension will cause VTRAC not to work. They also say tire size and tread pattern alone can cause VTRAC not to work. It says to call the dealer for more info.

I have'nt called yet as I'm out of town with work but I will inquire ASAP. I think the system needs to be re-calibrated, or something along those lines.

thats correct. the system will need to be recalibrated. Does your ABS light come on with the Taction light? If so a wire might have been pulled out when the lift was installed. That will cause it to come on also.

Nope, no ABS light, only the traction light. Good to know though! I wonder how bad the dealer is gonna rape me to do it??
