Hello, guys, I need your advice regarding the lift for my Tacoma 2012 longbed. A year ago I installed full Ironman 2 inch lift with all shocks and springs. Now it looks few shocks are bad and should be changed. I would like to install 3" Ready lift spacers and 1" block to the back. My first question - is it possible to install Readylift spacers on top of Ironman shocks? And second option - if I change shocks what kind of shocks I can install along with readylift spacers? Thanks

Thanks for your advice. Do you think OME is far better than Ironman? I heard about of more or less same quality of both. Anyway I would like a bit more lift. But will consider to replace for OME shocks. Thanks

    Yes sir
OME all the way, the fact that your shocks went out after a year from that ironman lift should say plenty if you ask me

OME is raved about on here, can't go wrong with them, they handle harsh Alaska roads where I live no problem, and do great off road. So i'm sure you'll love them if you get a set. Plus you won't have to replace them after a year.

What if I replace all shocks for OME and leave the springs of Ironman front and rear?

I wouldn't, Ideally you want the OME shocks with the OME coils (springs, same thing), and then ditch the blocks in the rear and go with an AAL. You can have top plate spacers up front that aren't nearly as bad as a ready lift or something like that. Do it right and never worry about replacing faulty stuff again. Trust me you'll thank yourself for going Old Man Emu. Not the cheapest route, but you get what you pay for. You could even go with this kit which is slightly cheaper http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Bilstein-Adjustable-lift-kit-with-5100-shocks_p_132.html

Ok, will definitely order OME shocks with front coils, for the rear I will probably leave the springs of Ironman along with Firestone air-ride kit. If 3" of lift is achieved with this set up I will not need to use spacers. Will also upgrade my tires for 285/60/18 size. Thanks for your help, guys!

I am going to install 3/4" top plate spacers to get full 3" lift. And I would like to ask you if I need to have also differntial drop kit?

The diff drop is useless on 05+ Tacomas. It "rotates" the diff in a way where not all the internals are lubed properly thus causing much more damage than good. To each their own though..
