So at 10,117 miles my light behind the temp. controls started going out, had to tap it for it to come on. At 38,000 miles my fog lights went out. At 47,000 miles my overhead directional went out. Recently, 87,000 miles my headlights went out as well as my 4x4 light coming on and my spiral cable is apparently bad. The dealership told me that everything had bad bulbs, which is hard for me to believe. The morning that my headlights went out I was so frustrated with this $30,000 piece of junk that i gave it a good kick on the drivers side and woola, my head light and fog light on that side came on and stayed on for 3 plus hours. They said the filament was vibrating. They looked at it for 6 hours at the dealership and said it was all a coincidence and the bulbs had just gone bad. Called Toyota Corp. and they were nice enough to offer me to take it to another dealership for the max. fee of 98 bucks and hours for 5 hrs, for them to look at it. Why so many problems, when I bought a tacoma I did not expect this from my vehicle. Any and all advice would be appreciatted.

I didn't even get into the problem the engine has when accelerating down hill or the horrible humming coming from the glove box when the AC is running. Oh yeah, the weatherstripping on the rear slidding window also came off. Were they supposed to put a clear coat on the front bumper, mine has turned a greyish color and can be cleaned with a rubbing compound. Not up to Toyota's standards. My friend just had to sell his toyota because it lurched when he was sitting in traffic, if he had his foot on the brake it would suddenly roar forward a couple of feet. The dealership said there was nothing they could do.

When driving through my neighborhood there is a stop sign at the apex of a hill. If i try to accelerate, rather than just letting it roll it jumps through the gears and seems very bumpy. It doesn't matter how easy you are on the gas, it happens every time. This has been happening since day one, when I take it to the dealer they never seem to be able to get it to do it.
