I have a 2004 Tacoma double-cab 4wd. I recently bought some Weld Sidewinder wheels, and now I"m in the market for tires. I currently have stock wheels, and tires are 265/60/r16 (could be 265/65/r16). I want an all-terrain tire, but I want bigger than 265. I plan on buying some bilstein shocks. No lift on it. Anyone have any good suggestions on tire size and make?

You can't go bigger than 265 stock without doing some trimming and cutting. BFG KO2s in 265/75/16 would look really good.

Light bar and bumper guard, 3/16 steel skid plates for engine, tranny and transfer box, OME 881 springs with 5100 shocks at mid clip. AAL in rear. Positraction rear diff.
I also have a 2004 4x4 with a 2.5 inch lift and when I put the BFG TA KO (not KO2) LT265/75R16 tires on it would rub the frame when the wheels were turned full. My last set of tires are ProComp XT Extreme same size but they don't rub. Tread width is a little narrower. It was not a problem I just let off a little when it rubbed.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
What is the offset on your new rims? That will partly determine how wide of a tire can fit without rubbing.
