The OP is doing what I did - just put down $1000 and you have yours reserved, fully refundable. So you get "first dibs" on the model you want. You can read more reviews from now until it comes out. You get to drive it etc before making the decision to buy or not. And you can walk away if it's not for you. Who care about them holding your $1K for a few weeks when it reserves you the right to buy.

That dealer is wrong. I just pre-ordered an Off Road with the JBL. It's listed with the dealer specs on another thread here.

    Stock and loving it
They are going to pay the points for a car that's been on the lot for 90 days instead of earning interest

you actually should lose nothing if you paid with a credit card. you can still make your (meager) interest on the cash throughout your CC grace period, which for most cards will probably not even end before you decide to actually purchase the vehicle (or not).

anyway, I have to stop responding to those comments; I already let myself get sucked into the shallow end of a typical Internet pissing match. I got the information I actually requested, so thank you to those who responded, and good luck with your Tacos, regardless of age, model, or price!

This. I saw the sales manager a few weeks ago at my local dealer. He showed me that he was getting just one. Silver DCTRDOR with both large option packages. I'm guessing it's a $38,000 truck. I have the spec sheet at home with VIN #. I didn't ask him to put my name on the allocated truck or to change the color to one I would actually want. I'm waiting to see and drive one in person. Probably even wait for the 2017s to see what might develop on a Pro version.

no. FP is the the only option code that has JBL. HH option code is the same package w/o JBL.

    A few things
When it comes to car dealerships, I wouldn't give them one cent even if they say it's refundable. Especially on a car you haven't driven or even seen one in person.

All bolt ons + tuning solution. Capable of running high 13's.
    Want a great tip?

Never ever buy the first batch of a new generation car/truck.

You will be a beta tester.

I had a few first year toyota vehicles and never had any problem. I guess toyota took the time to design/test their products better than other car makers.

I bought the first year of the new Camry in 2002. Never had any problems and it is still going strong.
