I put the 2005 and up 16" rim on my 2002 Tacoma with 265/75's I want to go 285/75 soon and I've already put 1.25 spacers on my truck and it doesn't look like they would fit, I want to get new rims what does everyone recommend for offset?

On a 16x8 wheel most people either run 4.5" or 4" of backspacing.

Yep. I just bought 16x8 Method Double Standards w/ 4.5" of back spacing. Fit perfect on my 04 Tacoma 4x4 Double cab.

By back spacing are you talking about spacers that mount to the hub? Or back spacing on the rim?

Backspacing is the measurement from the mounting face of the rim to the inner edge of the wheel.
