I have a knock that seems to be comi from the front right wheel well or somewhere around there. It goes with the speed of the truck. If you go slow it knocks slower, if you go fast it knocks faster. It stops at about 30MPH. I've taken my taco to the Toyota dealer and they can't seem to find anything BUT I did go for a ride along with the tech and he confirmed hearing the noise as well. Does anyone have any ideas on what's making this knock?

If there's any other information that could help you guys get a better understanding let me know, I'm glad to answer all questions.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Check the heat shield mounted to the floor of the truck above the cat is secure.

It sounds suspension related. It could be many things. Take the front wheel off and have a look. Take the shock and spring assembly off and move things around. If you don't have the tools or the time, take it to another shop to get another opinion. Sounds like the dealership you went to was lazy.

I dealt with the heat shield months ago. So it's not that.

That's a possibility for sure, I had one of the guys at the Nissan dealership I work at put 5100 adjustables in the front. Maybe it was his fault?

It could be as simple as a shock mount bolt that came loose.

How many miles on the truck? Any alignment issues? A knock could be worn LCA bushings, sway bar bushings, ball joints (look for tears in boots), tie rods, rack-n-pinion, UCA bushings.

Park truck. Jack it up, wiggle the rim left-right, up-down, look for lateral and hop play.

122K Miles. Toyota did a recall on my ball joints a year ago, so I wouldn't think it could be that. When I get he chance though I'll put it on the lift.
