i have the same seats in my truck, awesome and easy upgrade!

 

Replaced an outer torn cv boot, easy but messy! A lot of grease everywhere!

 

Do you guys think its absolutely necessary to take off the leaf pack completely to add in the D6XL aal for the dakars or could I jest unbolt my axle leaving the pack on the hangers?

 

The leaves are slightly different. Mine had the serial number then an a or b at the end for left and right

 

I will do this as soon as I can drive it

 

I was able to add the aal with the leaf pack still on no problem.

 

I know, wanted to see if anyone caught that.

figured I could but was it pretty smooth going and somewhat easy?

 

I took out the aal and it was pretty easy and straight forward. Just make sure you clamp near the center pin so it doesn't pop when you take out the center pin completely.

This is a link to my build. Added pics of the recent bumper and hitch I replaced as well as new tires.

Ordered some plasti dip for my worn out wheels today as well.

Thanks bud! I figured it would be easier to ask you then dig through this thread for a previous post. These are exactly what I'm looking for to fill the gap between the bumper and bar on my rig. I'm also looking at adding some hood mounted ditch lights to give me some width. After doing a night run on Saturday... in the rain... I quickly learned the OEM headlights are terrible.
