**PRICING AND ORDERING INFORMATION ON POST THREE, ENDS SEPT. 30TH, 2015**

I've had a few special requests in regards to group buys these past few days.

I noticed a few of you requested one of those RTMR waterproof fuse boxes.

    Well guess what?

Tacomapros, a TW vendor, has agreed to let me host a group buy for his boxes!

Here is what is going on:

    http://www.tacomapros.com/electronics/

The Bussman RTMR Fuse and Relay boxes offer a convenient and compact solution for auxiliary electrical accessories such at lighting. We did the hard work and prewired these fuse/relay boxes for an easy solution to complicated wiring.
These RTMR boxes are water resistant with rubber seals. They come with 5 relayed and 4/5 fused leads. 1 power input stud and 1 ground stud for easy hook up.
    Kit includes:
    1- Universal mounting plate
    5- Relays
    10- Fuses
4 ft long - color coded single cable with a 7 lead pin. This allows for 5 or 6 switches with a power lead for switch illumination
All leads are color coded for easy traceability

Notice the price? it already comes with a mounting plate!

This box will simplify wiring all your aftermarket accesories to ONE waterproof stock looking box. These are sturdy and very clean looking.

Need a install write up? I created one a few weeks ago using a similar setup sourced from another provider. I am an owner of a very similar fuse box and can answer questions in regards to installation, etc.

    So what's the discount?

Since these items have LIMITED availability, tacomapros wants to know how much interest there is out there to make sure everyone can have a box and provide an adequate discount. :D

In order to prevent huge lead times, I propose the following.

To order in batches of 5 or 10 at a time, unless tacomapros tells me otherwise. To make sure everyone gets their box in timely manner once they've provided funds.

So once you're on the list.. that's your number until the group buy is finished :D

The purchase order will be respected throughout the group buy, unless two members agree to switch spots. The agreement must be done via GROUP PM with me AND tacomapros.

This feeler thread will remain a feeler thread until we get at least 10 people signed up, unless tacomapros says otherwise.

    So who's interested?

The GB will included, but not be limited to:
Fuse panel + @Yotamac mounting plate.
Fuse panel + @Yotamac mounting plate + @Iggy. switch plate
The @Iggy. switch plate will be at a discount.

If you want JUST the switch plate, youll pay regular price.

    I know for sure:

The box and wiring is included. A @Yotamac basic mounting panel will be provided with the deal.

The basic panel is the panel on the RIGHT

The switch panel in my write up fits 3rd generation 4runners and 1st generation tacomas, this switch panel can be found here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/6-switch-plate-under-radio-location.315089/

A switch panel for the 2nd generation tacomas can be found here:
so some of you guys might want to know where to find a good switch panel, and where to locate it:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/switch-panel-gb.352289/

    @Iggy.

I do not have the switch panel for the second generation tacomas, but I am looking forward to purchase :D

    ************************************************************

    This is my install writeup:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/auxiliary-fuse-box-install-skygear-box-pictures.377085/
Keep in mind, I did the install on a 2001 4runner.
The installation for the tacoma is similar except you can mount the box on the drivers side and not have to relocate anything.
Although I haven't installed this setup on my 2015 since it's brand spankin new ;)
I can still answer install questions for Tacomas also.

    *****************************************************************

    Here is more lingo:

    So here is the explanation:
You have one black lead for grounding the box. You have one positive lead for grounding the battery. The SHORT harness has wiring that will go into your cabin to your switchbacks. The red wire is used to illuminate all your switches so you wont have to tap into the ilumination of the truck itself. The red wire will also be the power for activate the relays. The rest of the colored wires will activate each individual relays.

On the longer harness, white, yellow, brown, blue and green wires are the wires that are on RELAYED circuits, these are the POWER OUT to the accesories. If you connect hella lights to the yellow wire, you plug your rocker switch at the switchback with the yellow wire behind it! :D

Notice the orange, gray, tan, and pink wiring?
These are for accesories that DONT require relays. For example some LED wiring. Remember, if your accessory didnt come with a relay, it DOESNT need a relay. But what about a switch?

That's up to you, these four extra wires can be used to wire any non relayed accesory, but you will have to install your own switch somewhere else. Say the stock location next to the steering wheel? or under the AC controls by the cig lighter? Make sense?

Here's another thing you guys probably haven't noticed:

There's SIX switch locations.. but only five wire leads going to the switch blanks, the @Iggy. switch panel has SIX switch slots... Whoa, what do we do with that extra sixth switch blank? That location is powered by the red wire that also powers the ilumination, and is fused at F6 (see wiring diagram). So if your switches dont work, check your fuse at F6!

Okay, so that SIXTH switch location can be used to power an NON relayed accessory! :)

    Here is final data:

    How many amps per relay?

The manufactures specifications is 30 amp per channel. The relays are 35 AMP relays. The box is rated at 80 max.
Usually the load can exceed it a little but that's the MFG spec. Also, with LED it generally is much lower power requirements.
What gauges are the wiring leads that connect to the accessories?

There are two sets of wire leads.
    -Relayed leads at 14ga
    -Fused only leads are 18ga
    Both are Pure copper

    **Ordering instructions**

    per conversation I had with @Yotamac :

    **READ CAREFULLY**

He will contact each one of you individually ..each 51 of you to confirm your needs.

He will then order all materials.

He will then process the first 10 orders.

All orders will be produced in batches of ten.

    EVERYONE::

You may now order your @Iggy. plates. The order period for the plates closes ONE week from monday.

This time frame will allow tacomapros to order and receive material and build the first ten boxes. By the time he's done with the first ten boxes, the plates will arrive. He'll throw them in the same shipping box!

    PLEASE!

Include your screen name when ordering @Iggy. plates. He will cancel orders he can't verify if you're on the list!

ordering link ONLY for group buy members:

    http://iggycorp.com/panelgb2.php

Example for filling out your order form:

    A.
How do you want your box and accesories to receive power? By inserting the key in ignition and turning it on? or by do you want the box to be able to provide power to the accesories AT ALL TIMES? (dont have to insert key in ignition and turn on to turn on accesory that is wired to fusebox)

    B.
Gives details on the wiring harness that is routed from the fusebox INTO the cab for the switches. You will have a different color wire for each switchback (white, brown, blue, green, and yellow) PLUS a red and a black wire.

If you go with power anytime, the red wire will connect directly to the switchbacks. If you go with ignition, the red wire will need to be tapped into ignition switch wiring. (dont ask me how to do this). The black wire is a ground for all the switches in both cases.

    C.
You get fuses for your fuse box. What sizes and how many do you want?

    D.
    Self explanatory

    E.
The box comes with four feet of wiring harness that would be going into the vehicle. Where do you plan to place your switches? In the center console using @Iggy. or @paranoid56 switch panel? Or do you want your switches in the sunglass holder above you (see post 554)?

If you want the center console wiring route, you need 3 feet of extra wiring.
If you want the sunglass holder wiring route, you need 6 feet of extra wiring.

    F.
The battery leads to connect the fuse box to the battery are free. The power is 24" long and the ground is 18" long. Do you need longer ones? If so, specify.

    G.
** ill fill this in pending clarification from tacomapros **

    H.
switchbacks option (pretty much mandatory. unless you can wire your own)

    I.
Tired of having to replace blown fuses? Upgrade to auto/self resetable fuses. They look like this:
