And I was hoping this wise and enthusiastic group might help out a Toyota new guy.
This is my first Toyota Truck and I would like it to be around for a long while.

I was wondering if there was any major or minor work related to the miles on the vehicle that needed to be done so this truck can last another 100,000 or more. Engine, Body, or otherwise,

Any and all comments will be appreciated.

    With respect,
    ToyotaNewGuy

Hello! I'm new, too, but you just bought my old truck. Or at least one like it. I had her for 15 years until this last weekend. I had to replace the transmission at 144,000 which I don't think was normal. Most people say it should last at least 200k. The radiator went at 160,000. Front struts at 169,000. Other than that, I had to replace a few gaskets and change the oil and tires and that was it. I was recommended to get a new water pump and timing belt around 190,000 (the current one should have been replaced at 90,000). I also got the regular 35k and 45k services but after 100k I found a good local shop to do the work versus the dealership. Enjoy your new truck.

Sure thing. I also found this handy tool on an archived portion of a Toyota Parts and Service website.
I miss my old gal (truck) very much. These trucks become old friends. Mine never left me stranded once. Even when the transmission failed, I was just a mile from the shop. The only reason I replaced her was for the 4x4 and because I'm not a mechanic in any sense of the word. Have fun! :D
