Question on diff/tcase oil 2013 Tacoma 4x4

    Hey guys I'm leaving for school about 5 hours away so I'm going to swap my diff oils, tcase, and do an oil change. Is there a reason tcase has a different weight oil? My manual shows 75W-85 GL-5 for front and rear diffs and then SAE
    $29 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)
    75W-90 GL-4 or GL-5 for the tcase. Just curious as I wanna do it right. Thanks

    Thanks guys! I asked a couple local guys and they said
    $29 75w 90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)
    75w 90 was good for all so I tackled it right after I posted. Super easy just a little time consuming. I think it took me around two hours but that was taking my time and just enjoying the day outside wrenching. My local shop wanted $350 to do it... With oil and torque wrench it cost me under $150. Oil was super nasty.

    I used mobile 1 since they didn't have redline anywhere local and I haven't had the best of luck with royal purple lasting very long
