    Good Review

"The 2016 Tacoma is new, but it’s not that new. Like last year’s model, there’s a solid rear axle, a double-wishbone setup up front, and a C-channel frame (partially boxed up front). Sure, the V6 gets more power, and the fascia looks completely different, but this 2016 Tacoma isn’t exactly revolutionary and fuel economy figures are unimpressive."

From everything I've read on the 16 I don't think I'll be rushing out to trade my 13. Little disappointed to be honest.

Honesty I think this truck is a half assed reaction to the GM twins. If GM would not have updated those trucks then Toyota would have done nothing with the 2016.

I'm very disappointed. I didn't expect amazing things considering Toyota's conservative update style on their vehicles, but I expected a lot more.

Most of these initial reviews and video posts are not going to provide their true feedback as Toyota was footing the bill. There is no way these youtube stars and bloggers want the gravy train to end. Glad Truck Yeah had some balls.

I expect more negative reviews over the next 6 months especially if Consumer Reports gets their hands on this truck.

I saw an article today crapping on the 4 banger which I totally agree with. The HP and MPG numbers on the 4 banger are pitiful at best. Author is no mathematician. He stated that the 4 half less than half the HP of the 6. 1/2 the 6 would be 139 while the 4 is 159.

Apparently we have these forums all labeled wrong.
This should be the Gen 9 forum.
