Hey yall I'm new to Tacoma World but I was wondering if yall could help. I had a 2013 Tacoma with a Rough country 6 inch lift sitting on 33's just bought myself a new 15' Tacoma and want to lift it 6 inches as well, I still have the lift of the other truck I just feel that's more for looks. I don't do crazy rock crawling trails but I do hit some trails that require 4Lo so I want a better lift any tips on what lift to use or how I can aquire that amount of lift ?

3" instead of 6" because you will have more clearance with the 3" lift

    The drop bracket hinders clearance

There is nothing wrong with 6" kits, they drop all the factory componets down and there is nothing wrong with them.

Pro comp, fabtech, skyjacker are all good lift kits.

3" will only fit 285's with proper bs wheel.

    6" kits will work with 35's with a 18" + wheel.

    Edit:

Correct drop brackets will take away ground clearance, but if you're not using the truck to go rock crawling or anything else, a 6" will be fine.

Jon4x4 see that's what I'm looking for to be able to sit 35's on 17 but with the rough country lift I had to cut the cross member would I have to do that for all lifts?
