So im new here and just bought my first tacoma a week or so ago. Its a 2013 Access Cab 2wd TRD Sport prerunner. 6cyl Automatic transmission. Im thinking either the CST 3.5 inch spindle kit or the 4 inch camburg spindle kit. Not sure about wheels/tires yet but id like to run 32-33 inch tires and 16" beadlocked wheels. Not a huge offroader, but id like something that closely rides stock but can handle some offroading as well. :) Any ideas?

Just my opinion obviously, but with either of those lifts I think 33's will look a little small. I have 16's with 33's and people tell me the tires look small on my truck all the time, and that's with only 3 inches of lift. Welcome to the forum and check out different threads for photos of tire/wheel combos.

You can save a lot of money going with the MaxTrac 4" spindles. It's basically the same EXACT thing for half the price.

Cast and fabricated are not the exact same thing. Fabricated is a little bit stronger than cast.

    here is a good read

I know it's for dodges but same concept.

Thanks FATaco! Yea still doin some research about the best options. Id rather do the fabricated option and not try to go cheap on everything. I want to do it right, even if it costs me more.

Again, cast isn't as strong as fabricated, also if you read the link i posted, it points out very good things that you can do with fabricated spindles, than cast, like welding something if you break something on the spindle.

:deadhorse: Well under normal circumstances there should never be a break in the spindle requiring it to be repaired. If that's the case I'd rather replace it than piece it back together. OP stated he's not a huge off-roader so breaking a spindle of any kind at the mall is highly unlikely.

It was just a suggestion. It's not my money so it doesn't matter to me.
