Will do. If I have to bend the lines I will probably take them off and do it on a bench. I should be able to find a hand tool for that.

i'm also thinking it probably wouldn't be that difficult to build lines from scratch and get a 90 degree fitting into the caliper then bend the rest to meet back up with the braided line where its clipped on to the spindle. thats another option anyways

I was just looking at a youtube video in case I had to do something like that. Hopefully I will only need to bend the line

So I read a post a few months back where somebody was working with ADS to find a better place to mount the remote reservoir in the front. Anybody remember that? It had something to do with tire clearance and the reservoir being damaged or knocked off in the typical mounting location on the frame.

yeah it's tough because the LCE lines are already bent pretty tight and there's only so much room to fit a tool on there, also if you change the bends you'll have to make sure the length still lines up where it's clipped on the spindle. and you don't want to unbend any of the current (already) bent sections to not weaken to material.

banjo would be simplest but depending on cost it would be nicer to still have the hard lines as opposed to rubber ones for the brake feel though too.. i'm going to investigate locally tools and parts for bending lines from scratch. if i go that route i'll make a drawing and bill of materials if anyone else wants to go that route too. i'll keep in touch here though and tag you in whatever i end up doing if you don't mind doing the same

Sooo there be a deal on oil based enamel paint meant for metal. Local hardware store went out of business and a gallon of this stuff was $40, now $5.

    http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12687267

Think this could work for repainting the truck, or should I go with the standard automotive paint/process?

You mean repainting the frame ... not the truck ...right ? is a gift...for 1/4 of chassis saver I paid 39.99 , so you have the opportunity of buy 2 -3 gallons and do the whole 9 yards under the truck for rust protection .... great deal

Are you talking about in-channel visors? I have the EGR slim line in channel visors.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Bought some grey leather 4Runner seats out of a wrecked 00 runner. Gonna install em tonight after work. I'll be selling my 93 4Runner seats if anyone is interested, they are the full adjustable ones in blue color with mounts ready to go for a Tacoma (a little caddy wompus from my poor measuring but still functional).

Spent the afternoon trimming/fitting the dash components (and making sure I still have all the pieces :anonymous: ) so I can figure out where exactly the firewall should be.

Yeah that's where I bought mine. $49.99 + free shipping.

I like the in channel ones because you're not adhering them to the paint of your truck. Plus they are more slim lined and don't stick out as far.
