This is interesting, mine started doing the exact same thing a few weeks ago. I checked everything in the front end and it all seemed tight. I took it to a repair shop and the said that the same thing. I was thinking it was the ball joints, but they seem good. I've been looking through lots of threads trying to find similar problems, and this thread was right on the home page this morning. I'm going to check this when I get home.

    TW is great!:D

I got a chance to get undermy tacoma and check the cam bolts. They did not seem to tighten any, but the popping noise is gone. Awesome!

I have check everything under my truck, no luck, the noise is still there. I have taken the truck several times to the dealers, still under warranty, no luck, I'm getting frustrated with the noise. I have king shocks, all pro upper arms, stock lower control arms. I all post a video to see if anyone can help

Having the same issue. Creaking when turning. New rack n pinion, new tie rods and lower balljoints... I don't know. At alignment shop now. Will have them torque cam bolts to 100lbs and see what happens

Good looking out. Found a couple bent tabs... Apparently common with our trucks. In the meantime found the uniball adapter bolt was loose. Fixed my squeal creak. Feeling dumb I didn't find the simple fix myself...
