So I posted this question over in 2nd Generation and now need some advice. I have a 2014 Tacoma with the standard touch screen radio (No Nav & No JBL). When you 'Lay' on the horn for more than 4-5 seconds, the radio will cut out and then the lady comes on and asks who I would like to call... A few other guys said they have the same thing going on. So, is there any way to kill that feature?

hahahaha that sounds like toyota integrated anger management

i'm assuming that you have steering wheel controls. there may be some manufacturing defect in the wiring spindle in the steering wheel column. I encourage more people to try this and report their findings on here and to toyota. will likely result in a recall if there is enough cases.

Shaneckc - I do have the steering wheel controls. When I posted over in 2nd Gen, a few other guys said that the same thing was happening on their trucks.

Wow, that has to be a buzzkill when you are in the moment, standing on your horn, then that voice from the radio kicks in
