I just bought a 2005 Tacoma that just had the frame replaced (2 months ago) and it has some details that just don't add up:

The previous owner claims there was a 1.5" leveling kit (front and back) applied before the frame replacement, but when she got it back the rear spacers were missing. She wasn't going to deal with the Toyota dealership so she just handed the issue off.

This 1.5" leveling kit was apparently applied in order to fit larger tires 265/75 R16's
(They had these tires on all of their vehicles)

Do I need a lift in order to fit these larger tires?

Since this photo was taken truck has been waxed, new intermediate shaft, new PS pump, new front brake pads (ceramic) and rotors, new serpentine belt, new lower idler pulley.

No reason to be sorry. You see conflicting reports on this issue of you look long enough anyway.

Hope you get the tire situation figured out.
