Hey guys, new to this site and a first time Taco owner. I've read and read posts about tire sizes and lifts and everyone seems to have different opinions as to what fits what. So, I'm looking for some info on my specific truck.

I bought a 2010 4 door, sr5, trd off road. I noticed it has what measures to be a 1 1/2" spacer in the front and a 2" block in the rear.

Would I be able to squeeze in a 285/75/16 on the stock wheels?

    Thanks!!

Too poor to list anything interesting.
You can get a 33 in there. But you'll have to do some cutting (fenders, pinch weld), and possibly wheel spacers if you do not feel like rubbing your tires.

Max size without lift and no rub 265.
Max size with lift LIMITLESS. People run 37s here.

    Short answer, no.

Longer answer, you can make anything fit if you don't care about chopping and cutting.

no, keep reading the tire section there are plenty of threads for a 16in rim, I'm not sure what you could fit but I know 285s will at least rub really really bad

Thanks. I don't mind a little trimming. If they were to rub at full turn. The uca looks awful close to the 265s that I currently have.

And I have no clue about backspacing and all that mess. Lol

    The simpler the better.

Going from always owning full size chevys the 265s just look small to me.

Simpler = 265/75R16 on stock wheels.

That's what I'm running now. To me it just looks like a lot of room left in the fender wells.
