Anyone else gotten their Headliner "Done"? lets see them!

Just curious how many have done this, I actually just got mine done by a few old buddies of mine a few weeks ago with a TRD Logo...

Did you put sound dampening under the headliner since you pulled the headliner down anyway?

Not really a must that I had on my list, but they had extra material laying around that I wanted so did it pretty darn cheap. Plus I never really liked the cloth like material that came with the truck because it would get dirty really fast when off roading.

 

Actually didn't kinda wish I did this just a happen really withought any planning so didn't have any sound damping material. It's not that hard to bring down. These guys probably had it off the truck I'm about 15-25 mins.

Is it not cloth-like anymore? From what I'm seeing it looks like they glued the letters into the headliner....but then what?

Hopefully those edges they fuckered don't show after its installed?

 

I believe the material is Neoprene, it doesn't seem to absorb the dust it's easily wiped off.

I have no idea what your saying on the second part, bUT it's installed now

 

Did they spray it on after installing the letters? I've always hated cloth being up there much like the arm rests in the door. It's just a dirt collector waiting to get dirty.

It seemed like they bent some of the edges when they pulled it out, looking at the pictures.

 

They sprayed it and then placed the letters which are like make of plastic foam, then they threw on another coat of spray and laid the fabric.

No nothing was bent, I'll take better picture latter.

If you're looking at the first picture maybe since the left over of the fabric wasn't cut yet? Maybe its confusing you????

 

Ahhhhh ok now I see. It looked like the headliner was all bent up. Now I see it's the material.

It might not be something I'd go out of my way to do, but it's unique and IMO improves the truck considering it's easier to keep clean.
