Or maybe color matched things, sport seats, was why to get a TRD. DCLB helped with the decision of not getting the offroad.

    Enjoy your bike rides. :)

Would it be worth it to just pay 500 to have the dealership install new 5100's right off the bat on a sport model?

Its worth it on any model. The Bilstein Offroad shocks are shit like the Bilstein Sport shocks.

There is a guy who went through a lot of trouble to carry a bike the way it isn't suppose to be.

The normal ride over pavement s.uc.c.k.s. With these shocks....but, they ride much better over bigger bumps and pot holes at high speed on a rough road. Live on a dirt mountain road with frequent washouts....they ARE better....if you commute on the highway....right, they are useless.

Taco off road model with the Bilstein shocks. When trying out the sr5 model, it road no where near as well over this road...it did have smaller tires though. Plus, the six cylinder vs the four helps too with a lower percent of u sprung weight. In all models the six rode better IMO.

Are you still stock? If so, you should get the 5100's. You'll be amazed at the difference. The Offroad and Sport Bilstein shocks are an upgrade over SR5 shocks but it surprised me that Bilstein produced such a low quality shock.

I gave my friend my Sport suspension for his 4banger 4x4, that actually worked pretty well.

I like a sport truck, not everyone needs to go off road or rock crawling. Some of us use it for it's actual purpose.... to haul stuff and get there quickly.
