Hey guys, first time on TW and glad to be registered, always heard good things about this site and its users. I haven't read too many rules or guidelines so hopefully I'm not breaking too many policies with this post. I've never really been a truck guy but am interested in a 2nd gen Tacoma. For about the last year I've been hooked on the styling, performance, and everything I hear about Tacomas.

Recently I test drove a used 2012 and it was a pretty nice ride. Being someone who doesn't really drive trucks I was very impressed with how it felt and handled. One thing I did seem to notice was a little bit of rocking/vibrating when accelerating. Is this normal or do you think the truck might need some maintenance? Any insight on that concern and if you think this is a good buy would be greatly appreciated. To me it looks like it has been lifted 2-3 inches and I'm curious how much of the added on cost is the potential lift, wheels and tires jumping the price. Seems very reasonable with that low of miles and good condition. I'm not deadset on this one, its just kind of a setup I would be looking for, but let me know what you guys think! Thanks.

Drive line vibe issue common on must lifted and non lifted trucks , countless threads on this issue with various repair options . Truck looks good but in the end it's you that has to decide have a mechanic look it over before u buy it .

Nice truck. However, I suggest that you also check out a new 2015 truck. Might be cheaper than used. I just bought a new 2015 trd sport 4x4 dcsb for 30800.
