Has anyone ever thought of or installed an air ride seat on your 2nd gen Tacoma? National Seating out of TN makes one for light pu's although it definitely doesn't Tacos on their application list.

Having sat for Millions of miles in "Bostrom" air ride seats in class 8 OTR tractors they are a blessing from heaven BUT to gain the benefits of an air ride seat you would need much more headroom than you have in a Tacoma. I don't see any way to get the range of motion required without bashing your brains out on the top of the cab.

I would have to agree with this. There is no where near enough room in a taco for an air ride seat. At least one that would do any good. They are very nice to have and make the ride much better. Been driving on one since 1997 in our ambulances.

Maybe a low profile air ride? I heard some people put them in duramaxs, which is basically an ambulance and there isn't that much more head room? well kinda..

Subbed for low profile air ride seats lol

I'm talking about a International 4300 medium duty chassis.

That is one ugly @ss seat IMO. I would rather sit on a bucket with a rope for a seatbelt.
