So, I've had a S/C on my mind for awhile. I can't afford it right now but I may be able to swing it next year. I love my 4banger but I find myself towing stuff more and more often.., plus, I'e had it for 6 years now and I'm starting to get the itch for a new truck..even though there's really nothing that I'd be interested in.

I don't want a S/C to go fast.. just for those few times when I need the extra 'Ummpff'.

I've read most of the posts out there and I've read the install instructions. I have a good idea what I'd be getting into.

What I'm looking for is real world fuel mileage. And, yeah yeah, I know the usual reply to this: "If you're buying a S/C knucklehead then you shouldn't worry about mileage!". Sure, I get that, but knowledge is power and if mileage is way worse then it makes my decision that much easier.

So.. Anyone out there that has a URD S/C on their 2nd Gen 4 banger AND kept mileage records after it was installed? Preferably on non-hilly highways near sea-level?

    Thanks

I say just go for it,
I would love to have a URD on my 2015 AC 4-cyl but it's going to be a few years, lol...

    Good luck boss,

Yeah, if I could I would.

I could wait until Gen3 is out, it's looks have grown on me, but I just dont want to go back to truck payments. And I really still like my 4banger. I guess I just want the best of both worlds.. 4banger highway mileage and close to V6 power when needed.
