I will eventually need a full topo but I was hoping someone could confirm the boundary for me. I spoke with one guy who charges $250-500 but I am under contract on a lot. I didn't want to spend a ton of money in case we didn't end up closing. I am wondering if the PLAT map shows accurate GPS coordinates enough to just confirm the existing pins. I am not worried about 2-5' but major discrepancies.

A lot of that "depends." Plats don't usually show GPS coordinates, just reference benchmarks/monuments and direction/distance calls. With the right assessor's website and such, combined with Google, you might get coordinates for the corners, but keep in mind any consumer GPS is only accurate down to about 9 feet on a good day. Depending on how old the subdivision is, how it was staked, if the plat is available online (or you've been given a hardcopy and if not I can probably help you find it depending on the county), and a lot of other things you might be able to locate at least one of the pins yourself pretty easily (there are some in the middle of the sidewalk in front of where I live). Having a metal detector would help.

However, if you're concerned only about major discrepancies, the title company should be taking care of that. In fact you should be able to request a boundary location/verification from them. Our next door neighbor is in the process of selling the house and the buyers I guess wanted at least the front corners marked, so the title company had a surveyor out to locate and stake the pins (pie shaped lot, I can understand them wanting to know exactly where, though I'm not sure exactly what got marked because it looks like offsets to me). The never did come back out to do the back, which I guess they said they couldn't because the dog was out and they neglected to inform anyone they were coming. I've been curious about exactly where the corners are myself because it's obvious from talking with neighbors and just looking at fences (which are doubled up in several places) things have 'moved' and nobody is exactly sure where the corners are (but all within that 2-5 feet you mention... I think).

Sorry for this late post as I was laid up in bed for most of last night and today due to really bad allergies, but a HUGE THANK YOU to @teamhypoxia, @Squeaky Penguin, and @sean266 for their help installing my hi-clearance rear bumper. There were some issues that would have been very difficult for me to overcome on my own but with all their help were resolved very quickly. Now I just have to figure out all the electronic goodies and it'll be good to go!

That was the story for the wife huh? Couldn't come clean and tell her about how you got all drunk at your bumper party and were hungover?

We really should have given him that beer before he hacked is bedsides off. That would have resulted in much more hilarity.

This week's project for me is to build a retaining wall around my deck too. I'm using concrete blocks which I will eventually veneer with stone (or fake stone looking stuff).

So I broke the truck yesterday.... (bent the passenger side spindle)
which meant I get to ride a motorcycle in to work today.

Not much motorcycle riding has happened this year so the bikes are in various stages of disrepair. Awesome.

A quick assessment determined that the wife's ninjette was going to give me the least amount of trouble.
Problem 1 - Battery not fully charged. Had to jump start it off the truck.
Problem 2 - gas is old so I had to spend a few minutes dicking with the carb, choke, etc. If you know the smell of old gas, you'll no what I mean when I say the exhaust stinks.

Got it going, idling, etc... I think this is going to work.

Problem 3 happened as I got on the highway.... The pivot bolt for the clutch lever decided it had had enough of this shit show. It was out.... as in gone.

I'm glad it was me riding the bike and not the wife. As disconcerting as the floppy clutch lever was to me, I'm sure it would have been an instant crash for her.
Fortunately the lever is still connected to the bike at this point by the clutch cable so it didn't leave the party.
By holding it just right and kind of pushing it in as I squeeze it, I can use the clutch... sort of. The pivot point has now changed a bit so it just barely disengages completely.
So I get to deal with the wonky clutch on top of all the idiot texting cagers trying to kill me.

    TL;DR: Must be Monday

Not sure what I'm going to do yet....
I had thoughts of gusseting the new spindle(s) but then I have some spotty info that they may not be compatible with stock UCAs?
I didn't forget about the tie rods, but I think they're the least of my problems. @thefatkid says I can get them anywhere so I'm guessing NAPA or something would work just fine
