Thump start sound

Did not notice it until after the oil change. Every time I start it cold or hot at the beginning of the start it makes a thump sound? Could something from the oil change do this wrong oil filter? Pep boys did it. Also after oil change I put some Lucas fuel treatment in. 01 2.4 at 98k miles
