So I recently purchased a 1995 Toyota Tacoma with the 3RZFEmotor that supposably didn't work. My dad got it to start and after a few minutes the head gasket blew. I am a senior in high school and I'm currently doing a big career based project so I decided to take out the whole engine assembly and was planning on rebuilding it for the project. I started to disassemble the motor and when I got the head off, I tilted it to the side to clean it from the mixture of oil and coolant. I didn't realize the buckets with the shims fell out so I just put them in a random place. I later took them out and my dad took the head to get It tested for leaks and the guy supposably yelled at him for taking out the shims and said we have to find the buckets/shims original place. Does anyone know how to do that? I was thinking I can just buy all 16 shims and putting them in and it'll work perfect
