Great replies guys keep them coming!

Yotamac I will more than likely do the UCA sometime in the future. I am surprised with the 285 you need to do that much trimming. Is it because of the wheels being pushed out of the wheel wells? I am leaning towards the OME leaf spring that will add 2 1/2 inches at the rear. Since the front goes up 4 and the rear is raised by 2 1/2 I am thinking it will be close to level??? I don't want to have lean at rear. So more than likely I will need something else?

Norrin I agree it will probably never be fully finished! Its like that with my home too! Glad you are satisfied with the Maxtrac.

When your wheels are turned or hit a hard bump, the 285's will rub. It's a big tire. I had rubbing with 285's, just billies and no Maxtrac. You may be ok with 1.5" AAL. I cant be exact if it will be level.. you will find out once everything settles a bit. You may get a little better load capacity with the 2.5" AAL's but it may also sit stinkbug... Maybe some other members can chime in with their experiences using the 2.5" OME.

Truck looks awesome!! Great choice! I'm looking at going that size with tires/rims now that I see how good it looks on yours. Very well done...

Is this the BDS 6"? I bought that lift with TOYO Open Country (was gonna buy the nittos) on fuel assault rims, truck is TRD sport 2015, same red. My rims only came in the -12 offset (18"). Man this is my exact truck starting tomorrow!! We gotta come ride some Ontario country! I want to know if you had to use spacers (spidertrax), how she runs before and after regear (if you have done it), and what build you have. I have been just exploding with excitement to get my baby rollin!

Its a 4" Maxtrac Spindle lift in front. Since the spindle kicks out the tires 3/4 each side I used Spidertrax spacer at the rear. The Spidertrax is 1 1/4. I also did OME Dakar Leaf Springs and Fox Shocks. It rides great! Also the rims I have are 4.5 backset.

More than anything...I'm stuck on the MPG you got beforehand. I had a TRD Sport DCLB and average about 18.5 while feather footing it, and its mostly fwy miles. How he hell are you getting almost 22?!

I now get between 17-18 with the mods. The lowest before the mods was about 20.5 and the highest 22.5. I track all MPG since new. I don't know why the difference other than driving style and location.

I'm a pre runner too lol. When I first bought it I was averaging about 17.5. I have 9000 on it now and the MPG's have gone up a bit. I'm closer to 19 now. In part it may be differences in highway speed limits. Around here its 65 MPH, so I'm usually cruising around 70. If it was 55 I would assume my MPG would be a bit better.

My last tank of gas MPG 18.57. So far it appears that these modifications cause me to lose about 3 MPG. Those numbers are about what I expected. I would think when the tires break in a little more it will go closer to 19.

My driving style is fairly consistent. I try not to go over 2000 rpm's when I take off. Our roads are a mix of highway and city. I would imagine if I took a highway cruise I could get 20 MPG after mods.

I calculate mileage by filling it up until the pump shuts off. I divide miles driven by exact fuel filled. I now calculate that number by multiplying it by 1.05 which is the difference in the ODO with the mods.

So far extremely happy with the Nittos, Fox Shocks, Maxtrac Spindle, and OME Dakar leaf pack. This thing rides great! I have put on about 1500 miles since the upgrades. I just have to figure out how to prevent my seat from wearing out soon from getting in and out all the time.

Good job on researching the way you wanted to go, then executing your plan. Truck looks great, I'm assuming you installed everything?
