Yeah I do. Wish I got the fill plates honestly.

I just don't want to take the bumper off to paint.

I hate to bring up a sore subject but I really like the hybrid and was all set to buy it until I read the issues on this thread. I had emailed him asking about a turn around time and he called the next morning but I couldn't answer. Has he got his shit together now, has everyone been getting their stuff, and quality work or has everyone been gun shy to order since all the shit went down last year?

 

I've heard that he hasn't had issues recently at all. He got me and a few other people's stuff to them early even. I'd trust him with anything I need in the armor department.

 

Right on man. I know how someone's personal life, especially a family member can mess with someone and I understand both sides of the issues but I'm down to let him build one for me if everything is squared away with him now. I'm half way across the country so its not like I can go beat on his door for one reason or another and I've been working my ass off to get the funds for this. The wife is ready for me to have it on already lol.

 

I texted him yesterday asking about updates he said he's got most of the parts cut and will be cracking it out soon. Can't wait

 

When did you order yours and what are you getting? I'm torn between the hybrid and the plate bumper. I want something that will hold up to a deer if I smoke one since I travel a lot to hunt.

 

Uh 2 weeks ago haha I'm getting the 1st gen hybrid I prefer the hybrid. A little lighter but just as good and it's sexy looking ha

 

He's a good guy. I don't believe he would try to scam anybody.

If you need somebody to, I'm sure somebody on here could go beat on his door if there was a big issue.

I would get the fill plates in the hybrid. I think it looks nice but doesn't weigh as much as a full plate. I wish I got it because I don't like that I can see the silver in my truck through the bars. Other than that, the hybrid is the best! Super strong and light.

Best solution is to try to not hit deer though.

I was already planning to get the fill in plates without fog light cutouts. I was worried about snow pack getting up in there or a deer leg. But what will happen now is the damn things will run into my door or something lol.

Ok what is an exoskeleton? Sorry for my ignorance, I grew up rural hunting and muddin in our old farm trucks with the only mods being engine and tires lol.
