The Official Gym & Fitness Thread

I need a better garage so that I can buy the equipment that I need to setup a home gym.

But since the garage is old, and the door doesn't open, I don't feel like lugging weights and bars through a small door. If I buy the house I'm renting now, that's going to be the first thing to be rebuilt.

 

A home gym? What's the point of all those gains if no one is gong to be around to see?

I measured today...well I forgot my tape, so I stood next to it and measured where it was when I got home. It was right at 42" at the top of the platform. No clue if that is a good height. I'm 5'9" with fairly short legs. That's a flat foot jump 3.5feet. I feel like I should be able to dunk but I can barely touch rim...

 

You better grab a new roll of TP before you go back in there...

B) God I hate loud people in the gym and in general

 

Just dominated leg day so hard they tried to come up with a safe word. I told them to relax and it would all be over soon.

Had a first today. I grabbed some dumbbells off the rack and as I'm walking back to my bench some moron runs up and taps me and tells me he was using them. I told him I didn't see his name tag on them then just handed them to him. I held onto tell bar part of the db, so he had to awkwardly grab the plate part. Rack when you finish. Lol.

I did laugh. Kind of like an 'are u fuckin' serious?' chuckle.

Some people just don't get it...

 

Aren't there more than one set of the dumbbells?

 

We have everything 4 times here so usually not an issue - but agree clean off your shit when done
