I never really had any complaints about any glare off of the hood with the old scoop.
Doesn't really matter now anyway the hood is already gone off to its new home. Jerry picked it up yesterday.
It was hilarious, he drove over my place with no hood and we just took it out of the back of my truck bolted it right on to his truck.

 

I was kidding about the glare, but I'm a 100% with you on the lack of importants due zero function.

 

Do you plan on running the headlight trim pieces? If so I'd recommend getting a set from RockAuto (they're a fraction of the price of OEM and fit perfectly).

You'll need to paint them to match your rig but still cheaper than the stealership!

 

Already done.

They fasten to a part on the stock bumper which I don't have. I've got to mod them to make em work.

Did not put the truck in for the clutch because I needed it to pick up a fuck ton of boxes yesterday... Literally filled the whole bed & back seat with grill and grill mesh boxes.

Shooting for next week to knock that out.

So here's another piece to the puzzle I haven't posted... I picked this up a while back.
I purchased this spare driveshaft from BGR after he went over to the T4R side. It was not in bad shape but it had one of those "wookie" bearings on it and for the most part was essentially stock.
I took it over to Pensauken NJ and had it completely redone. Re-tubed, new carrier bearing, all new U-joints with the zerks accessable (not on the inside of the joint), and shortened 8.5" for the creepy crawler box



Fortunately Ant's got a front one that's the correct size that I can use while I get my own stock front shaft lengthened.

Things are coming together.
