I think we can all agree that a cheap BJ on a trail is best avoided.

Now.. Back to the original topic, if we may.

Personally I'd avoid all possible BJs on trail for sanitary reasons.

I'm still thinking about your earlier statement that some trucks can get the caster in on a 3in lift with factory UCAs. The UCAs and LCAs are mass produced as are the frames using robotic welds and fixtures. When I put my lift in, the stock UBJ was roughly 1/4" shy on both sides, so I put the LR /SPC ones in. Surprised that there would be that much variation between trucks.

Even more surprising is that the frame from 2005 on, is the same frame on the 2016

I like to add that in addition to the bushings, which was a fix made a couple (maybe three) years back, the arms themselves were actually redesigned. This was done this year and according to SPC the difference in the way they are bent decreases the amount of stress seen back by the welds. When comparing an old set to a newer set you can see the difference, it pretty noticeable.

Now understanding this I'm sure there are a lot of companies who may have had left over inventory of the older design, they could be selling these on ebay or Amazon for below MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing). For those ebay or Amazon buyers out there, just be mindful of this. If the comp is an authorized dealer you should be able to easily swap out the outdated set with the newest ones, but if they aren't (most of the time they aren't which is why they get away with advertising below MAP... a violation), good luck getting them replaced should they break on you.

I’m new to this forum. Just got my 05 Tacoma. I have the same setup in the front with the 885 and 5100 at 0. My rear is 3 inches lower. Not a big fan of having the nose higher. How can I get my rear to match the same height? I like your setup and might wanna copy.
