    I really like these 8" Shoreline led strips. Submersible so 100% waterproof. I used these after jacking around with the 5050 flex. Also like tying in to interior lights so they come on with door open. Pic is with 2 on drivers side only. Easy to replace if one goes out versus the flex crap.

    afaik....these are USA regional OEM level, not Japan factory. same category as X-SPX or TSS.
    well built and approved by Toyota, but not from corporate

    anyway I am getting me a pair. this is one of the things I wanted but I didn't like all the other styles of kit people have been using.

    mine arrives tomorrow and I am wiring it as the diagram indicates

    lights on when I press my keyfob
    lights off when I press my keyfob
    and also door open/close

    already have the holes drilled. tacoma install far easier than tundra install that's for sure
